The Challenge: Every spring, literal tons of usable school supplies, home goods, toiletries, and furniture are left behind and trashed on the Tulane & Loyola campuses.
The Opportunity: These materials can be repurposed in our community by over a dozen nonprofits: Mutual Aid Groups, Food Pantries, Teacher Resource Centers, Recovery Houses, and Community Lighthouses all need supplies and are able to get them directly into the hands of under-served families.
The Solution: You! We need Volunteer Teams to help with the Greening NOLA Spring Campus Move Out! Your team of volunteers will intercept, collect, sort, and distribute these goods to Community Partners preventing usable materials from becoming wasted trash.
From May 4th-15th, we need to fill 100 volunteer time slots per day. Sign up now to volunteer with your company, corporate group, or community team.
